He has published nearly 10 SSCI/SCI articles as first author in journals such as Technology in Society, Environment, Development and Sustainability, and Post-Communist Economies. He also serves as an anonymous reviewer for several SCI/SSCI journals.

Dr. Ju Guo is an Associate Professor at the School of Management, Chengdu University of Information Technology, China. She has published nearly 10 SSCI articles as first author in journals such as Managerial and Decision Economics, Current Psychology, Journal of Child and Family Studies. Dr. Yali Liu is a Lecturer at the School of Management, Sichuan University of Science and Engineering, China. Her research focuses on audit market development, performance auditing, digital economy, and corporate social responsibility. She has published several articles in journals such as Environment, Development and Sustainability, Sustainability, Accounting, Analysis, Auditing, and Finance: Theory and Practice. Her recent work includes co-authored studies on the impact of corporate social responsibility practices on high-quality development in China’s manufacturing sector.

Scope and Rationale of the Theme

Background and motivation: The deep application of digital technologies is reshaping corporate operations, value creation, and competitive landscapes, while introducing responsibility challenges such as data security, algorithmic bias, digital divides, and ethical misconduct. Balancing technological innovation with social responsibility has become a critical concern.

Relevance: This special issue responds to the UN SDGs, rising ESG investment trends, and regulatory demands for transparency and accountability in AI and data governance, addressing urgent societal needs.

Authors are invited to submit original research and review articles that align with the theme of this special issue and must comply with AJBMSS author guidelines.
