All published articles are made openly accessible under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, allowing anyone to read, download, copy, distribute, share, and adapt the published work, provided appropriate credit is given to the original authors and source.
Current APC Policy
CMP is not charging any Article Processing Charges (APCs) for manuscripts submitted to any of its journals on or before December 31, 2026.
During this period, authors from all countries and institutions can submit their manuscripts and publish free of charge.
Future APC Policy
If APCs are introduced in the future, they will apply only to manuscripts submitted after the announced effective date. Authors will be informed in advance before any charges are implemented. Any manuscript that has already been submitted and is under review, accepted, or in the publication process before the APC effective date will not be charged and will be published free of charge.
Waivers and Discounts
When APCs are introduced, CMP intends to offer waivers or discounts to eligible authors, particularly those from low- and middle-income countries and authors with limited research funding. Full details, eligibility criteria, and application procedures will be announced before the APC policy takes effect.
Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are based solely on the quality, originality, and scientific merit of submitted manuscripts. The peer-review and editorial processes are completely independent of any financial considerations. Payment of an APC, if applicable in the future, will not influence editorial decisions or publication outcomes.
