CM operates under a fully open-access model for its journals, enabling unrestricted use and adaptation of published articles. Each journal adheres to Creative Commons licenses, ensuring that authors retain full ownership of their intellectual property.
To sustain this publishing model, authors are required to pay a one-time Article Processing Charge (APC). This fee covers critical publishing costs, including the administration and coordination of peer reviews, professional article formatting in PDF and other formats, maintenance of the journal’s website, and dissemination across various platforms.
There are no submission fees or additional costs related to article length, inclusion of figures, or supplementary materials. Articles not accepted for publication incur no charges. Furthermore, specific content types—such as Editorials, Corrections, Retractions, and Comments—are published free of charge. This policy ensures the delivery of high-quality publications while maintaining universal accessibility.
Waivers and Discounts
Authors associated with CM Member Institutes are eligible for discounts on Article Processing Charges (APCs).
Editors and members of the editorial board of CM journals are granted the privilege of publishing their articles free of charge.
CM offers reduced APCs to corresponding authors residing in countries classified as low-income economies by the World Bank.
- Requests for additional waivers or discounts are evaluated based on the author’s country of residence and the quality of the submitted manuscript. It is crucial to emphasize that editorial decisions are based exclusively on the merit of the submission, and editors and reviewers do not have access to information regarding the author’s financial situation.
Payment Methods
- Article Processing Charges (APCs) can be paid in AED, EUR, USD, or GBP and must be settled within 5 to 10 business days.
- Payments may be made through wire transfer or credit card, with both options directed to CM.
